Privacy Policy

Project Access is committed to protecting your online privacy and providing a safe online experience for all of its users. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected online when visiting our website www.project-access.org and governs online data collection and usage at the Project Access site. Collection of Information We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.
1. Project Access is committed to respecting the privacy of donors and prospective donors. The types of donor/prospective donor information that it may collect and maintain include, but is not limited to:
  - Contact information: name, address, telephone number, email address
  - Giving history and information
  - Information on events attended, contacts made, special requests, etc.
  - Information provided by the donor/prospective donor in the form of comments and/or suggestions
  - Information documented after a meeting or phone call with the donor/prospective donor
2. Project Access uses donor and prospect information to understand their interest in its mission and to update them on the organization’s plans and activities. It is shared with staff, board members, volunteers and consultants only on a “need to know” basis.

Project Access also assures donors and prospective donors that their names and contact information will not be shared with any third party by including the following wording on its Web site and receipts:
- Project Access will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
- This policy applies to all information received by Project Access, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
- To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Cookie/Tracking Technology The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology.
