Every year, the Volunteer Center of Orange County and Orange County Register host a Spirit of Volunteerism Award Luncheon. This event provides a noncompetitive recognition platform for the county’s most deserving volunteers from nonprofit organizations and local businesses. Katherline Trieu is one of the 2022 Spirit of Volunteerism Award Nominees representing Project Access.
Katherline Trieu has been a volunteer at our Project Access Resource Center at Stratford Place Apartments in Westminster, California, since 2020 and has accumulated an impressive 227 volunteer hours! She exudes palatable energy and enthusiasm and has been with Project Access during its transition from in-person programming to virtual programming due to the pandemic.
With an emphasis on arts and education, along with hunger and homelessness, Katherline supports our Westminster apartment community site with weekly food distribution in addition to after-school programs for the youth. She is always prepared to work when she arrives on-site takes the initiative to get things ready for the program she is supporting on any given day. Most importantly Katherline is an outstanding and is always willing to teach and share her skills with other volunteers.
Katherline is representative of the many outstanding volunteers that Project Access is grateful to have on our team to successfully serve the needs of our many residents.
